The brand-new ROLEX Sky-Dweller series
The brand-new ROLEX Sky-Dweller series, “the most complex Rolex ever,” is now available! This timepiece redefines the concept of a true “Sky Walker” with its exquisite craftsmanship and precise calibration techniques.
The 42mm Oyster case features polished 904L stainless steel, a classic reinterpretation. The watch features a high-index sapphire crystal with a small window convex lens to magnify the calendar. The bezel features Rolex’s Ring Command triangle-patterned, bi-directional rotating bezel, with a rotating outer ring that can be adjusted for the month function. The clasp is a folding Oyster clasp with a 5mm easy-adjust chain extension system. The ZF exclusive authentic molded dial features a “charming blue” radiating pattern that changes dynamically under sunlight and overcast skies, emulating the authentic watch’s charm.
The 9002 movement, exclusive to ZF and modified by them, has a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. The power reserve reaches 72 hours. The correct calibration method, identical to the genuine watch, is done on the second time zone, with the Sky-Dweller displaying it through sub-dials. It consists of two elements: a red triangle located beneath the logo, which indicates the time on the second time zone, displayed in 24-hour format. By pulling the rotating crown out to the first position, you adjust the calendar; moving it up adjusts the date, while moving it down adjusts the hour hand (the minute hand remains stationary). Pulling it to the second position allows normal time adjustments (the 24-hour ring on the sub-dial follows movement).
